James Street 10
This Luxury home on Currumbin hill had many restrictions that had to be taken into consideration such as very steep slope with no street access except for driveway easement. This was an extremely challenging build with many facets becoming difficult just because of access. Over 300 cubic metres of concrete were used in this build, over the three levels.
The home oozed style from the front entrance on the top level with the garages down through the next two living levels. A central staircase comprising of stainless steel and frameless glass balustrade with brush box slab stairs on a single stringer with a 3 level stonewall with feature lighting is the connecting feature piece of this house.
A gourmet kitchen is adjacent to a large dining/sitting area with travertine floors and amazing large opening bi-fold windows with fixed glass underneath. This design feature allows full views straight down to the Currumbin creek and up through the beach.
The Master bedroom and ensuite beautifully appointed with brush box and granite flooring. The Lower level has semi-indoor pool, spa and deck with a stone waterfall feature. This is overlooked by a bar with bifold windows and when opened makes one large space. The level also contains three bedrooms, media/lounge and bathroom as and floors of travertine and brush box throughout.
The back of the property features a self-contained granny flat with it’s own separate entrance with the same fittings as the main house.
The home is fitted with smart electrical and audio allowing lights, colours, water features and music to be reprogrammed /changed as it suits the mood or season.
With too many features to list this home is as opulent as they come.
